Our ultimate goal is for every student to fully explore the fundamentals of ceramics while enjoying the wide range of techniques that clay offers.  From wheel throwing to hand-building, we hope this class will be a joyful and enriching experience. We want each student to discover their own unique ceramic character and have a meaningful time learning, creating, and expressing themselves through clay. Students will explore wheel throwing, hand building, surface decoration, glazing, and firing techniques using high-fire stoneware clay.
