All Levels - Wheel Throwing and Hand building, Cone 10 reduction

You are warmly invited to join the 8-week, all-levels ceramics class with Eunjoo and Wendy. In our first-class meeting, participants will be asked what their focus and goals may be during this session. The class syllabus will be tailored to students’ goals and needs after we get to know you at the first class.  Topics will include wheel throwing from beginning techniques to altered forms; hand-building including sculpture techniques; and surface decoration techniques from wet clay creation to glaze applications. Included will be 50 pounds of clay, and access to glazes. Pottery creations will be fired for students in one high fire gas firing at the end of the class. Expect lots of individual assistance in addition to weekly demonstrations. Please bring a sketchbook and a photo of a piece that inspires you to the first class.
