You are warmly invited to join the ceramics class with Darryl and Karl. Our ultimate goal is for every student to fully explore the fundamentals of ceramics while enjoying the wide range of techniques that clay offers.  From wheel throwing to hand-building, we hope this class will be a joyful and enriching experience. We want each student to discover their own unique ceramic character and have a meaningful time learning, creating, and expressing themselves through clay. Students will explore wheel throwing, hand building, surface decoration, glazing, and firing techniques using high-fire stoneware clay. The class will be structured to strive to meet the needs of all students.

Demonstrations, hands-on practice, and group discussions will support skill development and artistic growth.
All levels are welcome. Come ready to learn, experiment, and enjoy the rewarding process of making pottery from start to finish. The class will have one high fire gas firing at the end of the class.  Expect lots of individual assistance in addition to weekly demonstrations.
