All Levels – Wheel throwing, Hand building, and Surface Decoration; Cone 6
Tuesdays 6:30 - 9:30 pm
Instructors: Deanne Ketterman and Marc Campbell
Cost: $325
Level: All Skill Levels
This fun, hands-on class focuses on the art of surface treatment. We will explore various decoration techniques and learn how to apply them to both hand-built forms and wheel-thrown objects. We will have a mid-fire (glaze fire) so students can test their pieces before the final firing.
What’s Included:
Clay: Each student receives two bags of clay, with a choice between a white and an earthy red clay body.
Firing: Work will be fired to cone 6 in an electric kiln, a process chosen to preserve and highlight vibrant colors.
Instruction: Students will receive individual attention tailored to their skill level, along with new technical demonstrations every week.
